I am currently not accepting review requests. However, I am still happy to help promote your book in other ways (guest posts, book blitzes, giveaways, …).
First and foremost, thank you for considering me to read and review your book.
I accept hard copies and ebook copies, with preference to the first. If you wish me to read an ebook, please make sure it’s in the mobi format. I promise not to pass on or sell ARCs. If given permission, however, I might pass them on to other bloggers or give them away.
My preferred genres include:
- Young Adult in general
- Fantasy in general
- Middle Grade in general
- Soft Science Fiction
- Non-romance contemporary
I am likely not to accept the following genres:
- Women’s Fiction
If your book includes diverse characters or settings, make sure to include that in your message. The more diverse your story, the likelier I’ll accept to review it regardless of the genre. On the other hand, if your book promotes, in any way, sexism, homophobia, racism, ableism, and other -isms, I will not review it. I will also not review books published in a vanity press.
I give preference to publishers and authors I have read in the past, and stories with new concepts, believable characters, and solid writing.
If you wish me to review by a specific date or week, make sure to include that in your message. If that’s the case, do contact me at least a month prior to this date. I will attempt to have a review published by then. If you don’t include a date, I’ll assume you don’t mind if I take my time.
My reviews will always be honest and polite. I do not receive any compensation for them. If you take issue with anything I have written, do remember that I am reviewing the book, not the writer. Please refrain from sending me hate mail.
If you wish, I am also able to run giveaways, do interviews, guest posts, and book blitzes. Anything to help you promote your book (within reason, of course).
I reserve the right to accept or decline any requests. I may decline for various reasons, including lack of interest or time. If either is the case, I do hope you are not disappointed. As much as I would love to read every book in the world, I am unable to do so.
