With the winter holidays just around the corner, it’s no wonder that today’s Book Badger‘s Five Friday Favourites focuses on books to gift. I admit I’ve always been one to give books whenever possible. They do say one should give what one’d like to have, which is not to say that I give everyone fantasy novels. No. I always try to give a book within the person’s favourite genres, or one that I think they would enjoy.

In celebration of Hallowe’en, this week’s Book Badger‘s Five Friday Favourites is… *drumroll* Spooky/Horror/Hallowe’en reads!

Now, I have to admit, I barely ever get scared while reading a book. This week’s theme is Favourite Finales in series or stand-alones. To make things a bit harder (or easier depending on your perspective) for me, I decided to do it for series only even though most series I’ve picked up are still being published (this is what I get for reading fantasy books that have 2+ years interregnum between volumes). The ones I’ve included are for series I finished and loved – mostly for masochistic reasons.

Make sure to tell me what you think and what your favourite series finales are in the comments!
